Why the Serenade Stands Apart

Hybrid Latex & Coil Design

2" of GOLS certified organic latex over 8" of glueless, in-house-built encased coils gently contours to your body while delivering balanced, durable support.

Sleeps Cool

Real fibers — certified organic cotton and wool — wick moisture and breathe, while the hybrid coil design gives heat somewhere to go, unlike heat-trapping foam mattresses.

Three Comfort Levels

Choose Firm for extra support, Cushion-Firm (recommended for most sleepers) for a firm core with a soft, cushy surface, or Plush for a softer, cloud-like feel.

Zero Toxic Chemicals

No flame retardants, polyurethane foam, memory foam, glues or adhesives — ever. Passes flammability standards through organic wool and smart design alone.

What's Inside

Quilted Top — Organic cotton fabric with organic wool batting and a PLA comfort layer for a soft, breathable sleep surface.

2" Organic Latex Comfort Layer — GOLS certified organic latex for pressure-point relief without polyurethane or memory foam.

Organic Cotton Fabric Insulator — Separates the comfort layers from the support core.

8" Glueless Encased Coils — Individually wrapped, in-house-built coils with full perimeter edge support, assembled without any glues or adhesives.

Organic Cotton Batting — Cushions the base of the coil unit.

Encasement — Organic cotton fabric and organic cotton fill wrap the entire mattress.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between "firm" and "cushion-firm"?

The Serenade comes in three firmness levels: firm, cushion-firm and plush. "Cushion-firm" means firm support deeper down so you won't sink into the mattress, but the surface still feels soft and cushy — it's recommended for most sleepers. Plush offers extra softness for those who like the feel of sinking into a comfy mattress.

Does the Serenade work with an adjustable base?

Yes. The Serenade Organic Hybrid Mattress works with an adjustable base.

Does the Serenade require assembly?

No. The Serenade ships roll-packed — it just needs about a minute to expand and it's ready to sleep on.

What's the difference between the Chorus and Serenade mattresses?

The main difference is that the Serenade features a 2" layer of GOTS-approved organic latex, whereas the latex-free Chorus features steel microcoils instead.

Do the coils contain glue or adhesives?

No. Naturepedic uses a proprietary heat-sealing method for its coils, removing the need for glues or adhesives — a Naturepedic exclusive among organic mattress makers.

Do I need a foundation or box spring?

No, as long as your bed frame provides a supportive, correctly-heighted platform. If your platform uses slats, make sure they're spaced no more than 3" apart to prevent grooves from forming in the mattress over time.

What is the maximum weight limit for the Serenade?

Twin/Twin XL: 325 lbs | Full: 450 lbs | Queen: 550 lbs | King/Cal King: 700 lbs | Split King: 325 lbs per mattress

What is a Split King?

A Split King is two separate Twin XL Serenade mattresses (38" x 80" each) placed side by side to form a King-size sleep surface (76" x 80" combined). It's the standard configuration for dual-adjustable bases, letting each sleeper independently adjust their side and choose their own comfort level. Priced as two Twin XL mattresses.
