The Sealy Posturepedic® Spring Medina II Soft Tight Top Mattress pairs individually encased PrecisionFit™ Coils with SealyComfort™ Gel Foam in a soft, contouring feel wrapped in a smooth tight-top design. A reinforced Coil Edge and Sealy's 10-Year Limited Warranty back a mattress proudly designed, assembled, and tested in the USA.
Classic Innerspring Support, Plush & Soft
The Spring Medina II Soft Tight Top is Sealy's entry point into the Posturepedic® Spring collection: a traditional innerspring mattress built with individually encased coils and gel foam comfort layers, finished with a smooth, tight-top surface (no separate pillow-top layer). In the Soft feel, the gel foam comfort layer is at its most cushioning, letting shoulders and hips sink in while the coils underneath keep the mattress from bottoming out.
It's built with Sealy's PrecisionFit™ Coils, SealyComfort™ Gel Foam, SealySupport™ Gel Foam, a reinforced Coil Edge, and a MoistureProtect™ Cover with Surface-Guard Technology™.
Targeted Support
Engineered for All-Night Support
Every Sealy Posturepedic® mattress is engineered by Sealy's sleep team with one goal: keep you comfortably supported all night, so you wake up feeling rested and refreshed — even in a softer feel.
Sleep Position
Side Sleepers
The Soft feel lets shoulders and hips sink in for deep, contouring cushioning, making this a strong match for side sleepers.
Built to Last
Independently Moving, Reinforced Coils
Individually encased PrecisionFit™ Coils move independently from each other for targeted support and reduced motion transfer, while a reinforced Coil Edge keeps the perimeter solid for sitting and sleeping near the edge.
Feel & Support
Built for a Soft Feel
This is the Soft option in the Spring Medina II Tight Top line: the deepest cushioning in the collection, with a thicker layer of gel foam over the encased coils allowing more sink at the shoulders and hips while the coils keep the base supportive.
Why it matters:
-
Deep cushioning — plush comfort for shoulders and hips
-
Contouring feel — the most body-hugging option in the Medina II Spring Tight Top line
-
Supportive base — encased coils keep the mattress from bottoming out
Profile Height
A Consistent 13" Profile
The Spring Medina II Soft Tight Top holds a 13" profile across every size in the collection — the flat, tight-top construction keeps the surface trim compared to the pillow-top versions in the same line.
Why it matters:
-
Consistent height — the same profile no matter which size you choose
-
Frame-friendly — fits standard bed frames, platform beds, and adjustable bases
